An evening of sketches and anecdotes with Deborah Leslie, plus rehearsed readings of some new work by Kenny Fraser. She’s been called “The voice of the North-east”; Deborah Leslie is a published short story writer for national magazines, children's novelist and prize-winning Doric writer who can conjure up the North-east characters in all their moods. Kenny Fraser gained a runner up award in the first “Charles Barron’s Doric Writing Competition”. Tonight’s piece is a rehearsed reading of his latest sketch.
